For those ready for a serious challenge or those just wanting to stroll the Chehalem mountainside with the family, this one's for you.
All abilities event, FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Strollers and wheelchairs welcome.
Learn more about horseback therapy, meet the unique Norwegian Fjord therapy horses, see a Clydesdale "in person", visit the other ranch residents, watch the kids run the Tot Trot... so much to do!
The Chehalem Challenge is a benefit fundraising event to support Chehalem Mountain Therapy Riding Center Inc which provides horseback therapy riding for persons with special needs. Read more about CMTRCI at www.horsebacktherapy.org.
Most importantly, The Chehalem Challenge is held in recognition of those in a truly challenging profession...the mothers of children with special needs. Where Strength, Discipline, and Endurance, are daily requirements.
